Market capitalization or "Market Cap", represents the total market value of a company's outstanding shares of stock. In an acquisition, the market cap helps determine whether a takeover candidate represents a good value for the acquirer.

How to use it?
You can use the Market cap to your advantage in multiple ways. For instance, if an item has a stable Market Cap, that means that the item is less volatile to price spikes and therefore a mature investment option.
The other way around, if the item has spikes in Market cap, then that can indicate a volatile price which can be beneficial if you like to flip the item.
Generally speaking, if the Market Cap is high then the item also has high velocity. High Velocity = Item gets traded often.

Likewise Volume 24h represents popularity in an item which can make a difference in deciding which item to invest in.
How to use it?
If an item has high volume 24h, you can be sure that it is a competitive item to flip. At the same time, if the general trend is steadily going upwards and there is high volume, then the item can be seen as a good long term investment.
